Trailer Research - Safe


- Starts with an establishing shot, this is based in America
- American Male voice over, this is stereotypical for crime and action films
-Stereotypical suits, weapons and glasses, shows the characters are members of a gang
- Quick cuts with voice over, this is again stereotypical
- Fast editing, builds up tension and suspense for the audience
- Busy crowd scene, sets the location for film, also stereotypical as it's easier for people to go missing
- Young, powerless female, also stereotypical for films because she can't defend herself
- Close up of protectors face, he's is usually white male, the close up also shows his facial expressions
- Music build up, adds tension for the audience
- Violence in the fighting train scene, also stereotypical for the film genre
- Lots of fade to blacks used throughout the whole trailer
- Flashbacks, black and white filters used 
- Fast paced music used and goes with the film
- USP is Jason Statham
- Headquarters which is stereotypical for crime and thriller films
- Dialogue used as voiceover 
- Police which is also stereotypical
- Clicking of weapons, weapons are also stereotypical
- Fast paced editing used in gun scenes
- Protector always risks their life at one point in film - "till my dying day"
- Rock music used a lot in trailers to build up pace
- Car chase and explosions, again stereotypical
- Slow motion, build tension for the audience
