Fonts/Texts

For the crime and action genre most of the fonts and texts used in the title are in bold and are wrote in all block capitals. Some of the films also have red coloured writing, this is used to connote danger and also signifies blood will be in the film. This is to show the audience the genre. The words used in the title are also short, memorable words such as "Taken" and "Safe". The names of the main actors are also included just above the name of the film, this would be a USP because some people would go watch the film because they like the actors who are involved. Each of the films also have a recognizable logo, this would be good for the film because if it is a sequel then people will know the film by the logo. An example of a film that has a recognizable logo would be "Skyfall". The audience would recognize the 007 logo with the gun and this would then tell them that this film is part of the James Bond series. The Bourne Identitiy is also another film with a logo that the audience would recognize, for this film it would be the sniper scope that is acting as a target on the letter "o". The Men in Black logo is also another film with the logo. For this one it would be the 2 main actors that are standing in the lettering, in the dark suits holding guns.
