Costumes/Props

Costumes:
In the action and crime genres the costumes that the government agents wear are usually suits. We got this idea from the film "Men In Black" where the main characters are dressed in suits. The suits will give the characters a sense of power and authority and will also signal to the audience that these characters are the main ones and have the most power out of them all. The agents usually wear glasses to hide their identity, and this will relate to the mystery side of our film. This is important because if they are working for the government their mission will be secret and the glasses help to build the tension for the audience.

The costumes that we have been looking for the "Protector" are just casual, "everyday clothes" but however they will also need to show that they have some form of power, if they do turn out to be the hero of the film, otherwise the audience could get confused. This can be easily achieved for our film because whoever plays this role could just wear ordinary jeans. The protector could also wear a big coat in the film because it could be used to hide weapons or it could be used to make the character look strong and powerful.

Props:
The main props that we are going to use in our film are weapons. The agents and the protector would be the ones with the guns in our film, this is because these would be crucial in order for them to protect themselves. The weapons also show that the agents have power and authority over the other characters if they have weapons and the others don't. Earpieces for the agents could also be used as these could also be used to receive information from the government about their secret mission. We again got this idea from the film "Men In Black".

Another prop that would be crucial in our film is a usb memory stick. This is important because this is part of the reason the whole chase started. It all started from a member of the government dropping the memory stick when it has crucial, important information on it. This memory stick plays an important part in our film because if it get's into the wrong hands it could cause trouble. The memory stick would also be black because this is a typical government colour and it also won't have any writing on it, this could also emphasise the mystery part of our film.
